Payouts

Send one-time transfers from a virtual account to external bank accounts or crypto wallets.

What are Payouts?

A Payout is a one-time transfer of funds from an Infinia virtual account to an external counterparty — a local bank account, an instant-payment destination (such as PIX or QR), or a crypto wallet. Payouts are executed over the local rails of each supported country, so beneficiaries receive funds in their local currency and format.

📘

Payouts move funds out of the Infinia platform. To move funds between Infinia accounts, use Internal Transfers instead.

How it works

  1. Call Create Payout with the source account, destination details, and amount.
  2. Infinia validates the request and executes the transfer over the corresponding local rail.
  3. The payout progresses through its lifecycle (e.g. IN_PROGRESSCOMPLETED or FAILED).
  4. Status changes are notified via webhook, so you can reconcile in real time.

Common use cases

  • Payroll and contractor payments in local currency.
  • Withdrawals from a wallet or neobank to the user's bank account.
  • Supplier and vendor disbursements.
  • Off-ramp flows: converting stablecoins to fiat and paying out to a bank account (see Fund Flows).
